The Computer Science Department mourns over Ralf Klamma

PD. Dr. Ralf Klamma passed away on January 23rd, 2023. 

 

Saddened and in deep mourning, the Department of Computer Science has to announce our highly appreciated colleague PD. Dr. Ralf Klamma passed away on January 23, 2023.

Ralf Klamma was part of our group for many years. Until last, he led the Advanced Community Information Systems (ACIS) research group of the Chair of Computer Science 5 (Information Systems and Databases).

His death deeply shocks us and leaves a deep gap in our midst. We remember Ralf Klamma as a valued researcher, enthusiastic lecturer, and entrepreneur with heartfelt gratitude.

On the immeasurable loss, we would like to express our deepest condolences to his family, especially his wife and children.
