Sandra Kiefer from the Chair of Computer Science 7 (Logic and Theory of Discrete Systems) receives the Ackermann Award 2021 for her dissertation "Power and Limits of the Weisfeiler-Leman Algorithm".

Ms. Kiefer defended her thesis in March 2020 and is currently employed as a research group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems.

The Ackermann Award is the Outstanding Dissertation Award for Logic in Computer Science. It is presented during the annual conference of the European Association for Computer Science (EACSL).
