Professor Dr. Uwe Naumann vom Lehr- und Forschungsgebiet Informatik 12 (Software and Tools for Computational Engineering) wurde zum Programmdirektor der SIAM Activity Group “Applied and Computational Discrete Algorithms” gewählt.
Diese SIAM Activity Group fördert die Forschung an rechnerischen Lösungen kombinatorischer Probleme in Forschungsbereichen wie kombinatorisches wissenschaftliches Rechnen, algorithmische Informatik und viele mehr.
