Professor Dr. Uwe Naumann, head of the Chair for Computer Science 12 (Software and Tools for Computational Engineering), has been elected as the program director of the SIAM Activity Group “Applied and Computational Discrete Algorithms.”
This SIAM Activity Group fosters research on the computational solution of combinatorial problems in areas including combinatorial scientific computing, algorithmic computer science, and many more.
