CAiSE‘20 Best Paper Award
Martin Liebenberg (KBSG) and Professor Matthias Jarke (Chair for Computer Science 5) received a Best Paper Award at the 32nd International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering (CAiSE’20). The prize was awarded by Springer Press for the publication “Information Systems Engineering for Digital Shadows: Concept and Case Studies”.
Due to the CoVid19 pandemic, the international event with more than 1200 participants, which is leading in the field of IS Engineering, was held as a video conference this year. 174 Full Papers had been sent in, 18% of which were accepted. Prof. Jarke additionally held one of the three intived keynote talks on the topic “Data Sovereignty and the Internet of Production”. For the Chair of Computer Science 5, this is already the second Best Paper Award in the CAiSE conference series, following the first honoration in 2016.
