Fraunhofer ICT Dissertation Award for Dr. Erion Elmasllari
The annual Fraunhofer ICT Dissertation Award competition recognizes the best doctoral dissertations written in the 19 research institutes of the Fraunhofer ICT group, with about 6.000 researchers one of the largest IT research organization in Europe.
This year, Dr. Erion Elmasllari of Fraunhofer FIT was awarded the first prize in this competition for his doctoral thesis titled “A Framework for the Successful Design and Deployment of Electronic Triage Systems” in a plenary session of the GI annual national informatics conference in Kassel, September 26, 2019. The thesis was accepted in the Computer Science Department of RWTH Aachen in August 2018. Supervisor and reviewers of the thesis were Professors Matthias Jarke, Martina Ziefle, and Thomas Rose.
