researchers

The Department of Computer Science has about 30 research groups working on a broad range of research, including on topics of strong societal relevance, such as international climate research or space research.

Our profile is characterized by top-level research, international projects and interdisciplinary collaboration, which form the basis for our success in the Excellence Initiative of the German federal and state governments: the department participates in one of two Excellence Clusters and contributes to the AICES Graduate School.
