Commission for Teaching
The Commission for Teaching of Computer Science, KfL for short, is an institution of the Department of Computer Science. It supports the Department and the Faculty in organizing and coordinating the courses of study in computer science and thus has an important advisory function.
The Commission for Teaching develops recommendations for the coordination and further development of courses of study (BA/MA Computer Science, Teaching Degree Computer Science, SSE, MIT). It advsises on examination regulations and the development of curricula and course contents. Moreover, it is concerned with strategic development of teaching and learning, including new teaching formats.
The commission offers recommendations on the above and other topics which serve as a basis for departmental decisions.
Furthermore, the KfL ensures the quality of the courses of study at the strategic level, while the academic advisors, examination boards, and the Central Examination Office, provide support and make decisions in individual cases.
