Regionalgruppe Aachen – Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V.
The members of the Regionalgruppe Informatik Aachen (RIA) of the Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI) work together to exchange views and information, to discuss and develop new ideas and to represent the concerns and interests of computer science and information technology in the region.
RIA works closely together with REGINA e. V., RWTH Aachen University and FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences.

REGINA is an independent network for the ITC sector with members from business, higher education institutions, and research. It provides a platform for information and exchange and seeks to create and maintain strong links between research and industry.
Fakultätentag Informatik and 4ING
Fakultätentag Informatik, the association of German computer science departments at German universities, represents the interest of its members, in particular in promoting collaboration in research and coordinating exchange on computer science education in Germany. Member institutions are computer science departments at German universities and equivalent higher education institutions that have the authority to award doctoral degrees and postdoctoral lecturing qualifications.
The 4ING association is an umbrella organization for the different engineering and computer science departments at universities in Germany.

Informatics Europe
Informatics Europe represents the academic and research community in Information and Computer Sciences in Europe. Bringing together university departments and research laboratories, it creates a strong common voice to safeguard and shape quality research and education in Information and Computer Sciences in Europe. With over 100 member institutions across 25 countries, Informatics Europe promotes common positions and acts on common priorities.
