Summer Festival of Computer Science 2017
Friday, June 23, 2017, 12:00pm
The Computer Science Department at RWTH Aachen University is inviting you to our festive graduation party.
The traditional summer festival begins with a company contact fair in the foyer of the main building of Informatikzentrum Ahornstraße. Current and future computer science graduates have the opportunity to get in contact with regional and national or international IT companies. In the popular "3-minute madness", sponsors of the summer festival present themselves with short presentations in the Aula 2.
For the ensuing ceremony, we have been able to win Professor Smola of Amazon, Palo Alto. The subsequent graduation ceremony starts with the award ceremony, followed by the solemn hand-over of the certificates to the graduates.
The summer festival is concluded with a dinner and party with DJ. To participate, you are required to wear the "summer festival bracelet". Our graduates receive this bracelet for themselves and their family/companions together with the certificates. During the trade fair, students have the opportunity to get a bracelet at some exhibition stands. (At this position, the text contained a mistake. We would like to apologize for this.)
