Book cover

Ilona Buchem (Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin), Ralf Klamma (Chair for Computer Science 5, RWTH Aachen University), and Fridolin Wild (Universität Oxford Brookes) edited the book “Perspectives on Wearable Enhanced Learning (WELL)”, published by Springer, a prestigious science publisher. The goals of the book are to examine the current state of research, to identify challenges, and to give practical examples.

The Special Interest Group on Wearable Enhanced Learning (SIG WELL) at the European Association of Technology Enhanced Learning (EATEL) laid the groundwork for this collection of research articles and reflections in several conferences and workshops. This volume is composed of 21 chapters in 7 sections, covering a broad spectrum of WELL topics ranging from technology, design, and pedagogy to empirical research approaches.
