If you are a beginning student, we advise you to attend the Mathematics bridge course. If you are not overly experienced with computers and their use, we also recommend you to take the Computer Science bridge course. The aim of the bridge courses is to refresh and teach the math and computing skills required as a basis for your course of study.
In addition, Project Euler gives you the opportunity to further fresh up your programming and math skills. It consists of a number of math problems of increasing levels of difficulty which can be solved with the help of a computer program in the programming language of your choice. The different tasks build on each other and introduce you step by step to more complex data structures and solution paths. Use of the English-language website and its offerings is free of charge.
